Are You ready because Tomb Raider Lara Croft is ready for macOS Catalina? Feral Interactive considers the Mac version of the action-adventure Tomb Raider after five years for the first time with an update. The update, released with the version number 1.2, makes the game run on 64-bit and gives the protagonist Lara Croft a few more years on Apple computers.
Under the announced for autumn, new macOS version Catalina only 64-bit applications are supported. Many older programs on a 32-bit basis are looking forward to their retirement, including some games from the house Feral Interactive. The developers released a list of 14 Mac games at the turn of the year, which are being taken out of the market and are not compatible with macOS Catalina due to lack of 64-bit support.
The Catalina update for Tomb Raider comes as a surprise. In addition to 64-bit developers have also switched to Apple’s current graphics interface Metal. In addition, Feral Interactive strikes the Game Center connection and now offers the in-house multiplayer matching system Calico as an alternative.
